Presidents Report - December 2011

Hi Members,

What a year, our club is still going strong with a few members up dating their cars. The run to Glen Innes was fantastic and I would like to repeat the run next year and try to fill up the motel with our club cars and take the trophy off the XR8 Club.

The Sunshine Coast Chapter has requested that their runs be advertised in the club mag and also on our website so that other club members can join them so I have asked the secretary to arrange it.

I would like to thank our special members who worked behind the scenes to make sure our club runs smoothly with a great magazine, lots of Photo’s, help at outings, club regalia etc.

We had a great kids Xmas party at the Plantation with Santa dropping in to say good-day, thanks to Bob for organizing the jolly fellow. Bob will write a report on the outing, “Fantastic Day”

Some of us are going to the car show at Ballina on Sunday the 15th January as it is a good start to the New Year with a great selection of cars.

I would like to personally thank Shane for all his help and legal advice during this year as we would be lost without him.

As this is the last mag for the year, I would like to congratulate those who took out trophies this year and all the others that have worked to make our club great and I look forward to anther successful year next year.

Please make sure that you have a safe Xmas and New Year, drive carefully so that we see you all again.
